Sankyo Kasei Co., Ltd. is a fine chemical manufacturer specializing in basic and functional chemicals that was founded in 1907. In the field of basic chemicals, we provide high-quality products centered on sodium sulfide and sodium hydrosulfide, while differentiating ourselves from our competitors through our unique technological and raw material procurement capabilities. In the field of functional chemicals, we develop high-performance, high-precision products in response to customer requests and provide wide-ranging support from prototyping to mass production.

Our corporate slogan “Human Chemistry” is a combination of two elements, namely “chemistry,” which utilizes the earth’s precious resources to create materials that support richer lifestyles, and “humans,” who breathe life to the performance of this chemistry. Our goal is to create a chemistry in which the human connection is clearly visible. This philosophy is expressed in the words “Human Chemistry.”
Our new plus FUSION concept embodies our desire to deepen “Human Chemistry” and open up the future. We operate two unique factories. At our “sea factory,” the Akitsu Works, which has a variety of manufacturing lines, we manufacture information and electronics products as well as organic and inorganic chemicals under ISO management with facilities capable of handling lab-scale to mass-scale operations. Meanwhile, at our “forest factory,” the Fukuchiyama Works, we manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and chelating agents, while meeting the legal requirements and customer needs for each product. This factory complies with GMP or Non-GMP standards for pharmaceuticals, and ISO 9001 for chelating agents.

We respond to the demands of our customers for high quality through manufacturing based on MCF (Metal Contamination Free) technology and for precision production through GMP management. In the information and electronics field, we provide high-performance and high-precision chemicals, and in the pharmaceutical and medical field, we provide advanced pharmaceuticals. In addition, in the transportation machinery field, we are contributing to the development of new materials for electric vehicles.
